In addition to these videos, I also created a series of "liminal spaces" to serve as backdrops. These rooms that don't exist were made by combining several pre-existing rooms and changing certain aspects, intending to give a sense of unease. The direction was to make these areas difficult to navigate with your eyes, but not overwhelming.
CYMA TECHNOLOGIES
(2021-2022)
Cyma Technologies is a company that focuses on utilizing special technology to create "sound-made-visible" images, and seeks to implement these breakthroughs in ongoing medical research. They have contracted me to film and create several promotional videos and motion graphics for them, which you can view below.

In March of 2022, the play "Machinal" premiered at Augusta University. Machinal was a very special project I was thrilled to be a part of. The story takes place in the 1920s, and follows a woman attempting to live a modern life in spite of the impositions of the world around her. The director, Doug Joiner, designed three large panes of glass to fill the back of the stage. Each glass pane was designed to have large videos and graphics displayed to enhance the viewing experience, and add to the anxiety and unease of the play, as well as to highlight how small our main character felt. I was approached by the Media Director, St. Julian Cox III, to help conceptualize, film, and create these series of motion graphics and backdrops. The work was split between the two of us. Here is a collection of the work I created.
